Top 7 exciting wedding shoes

Okay, I just need to make a little blog with pictures of accessories that I really like. I wanted to make a list on my listography today, but I just found out that the site is down for an undisclosed amount of time. So it goes here.

CRAGAR

1.Alexander McQueen Satin Heart Shaped Pump$690.00
2. Christian Louboutin Rolando Hidden-Platform Pump $695.00
3/4. Christian Louboutin - Fifi Strass $3095 (HOLY COW!)
5. Aldo - Cragar $54.98
6. Christian Louboutin Replica Pumps $115 (I actually like these better than the real ones up there, and they have red soles, which makes them a perfect wedding match.
7. Unfortunately, i found these one someone's blog, they say they were purchased at amazon, but no details.

Okay, so there you have it. My top 7 wedding shoes. I really think I want to go with the knock off   Christian Louboutin shoes.  They are perfect. In reality, I was looking for a pair of Fendi shoes to include on here, but I don't like any of their current shoes. Well, Okay, I like plenty of them, but they didn't have any that would match my wedding colors.

pink hair clip flowers

I made some more hair clip flowers this weekend, these ones were really pretty mixes of pink and peach chiffon and tulle. I got the shiny chiffon, which really made a difference. I have instructions to make theses that I posted a few days ago, I am just posting this one to show off the colors. If you are interested in making them, scroll down.

oooh, pretty!

I just found this photo, and I think these might be the colors I am looking for. But more blue. With just slight pink accents. Ooh, I like red too. And I kind of want exciting shoes, so either of these combos might work out. Now to convince Josh.

Possible color combos? I don't love any of them. Oh man. This is just making me more nervous now.

Getting Nervous.

Okay, so I am a planner. I need to know exactly what is going on in my life everyday, all the time.  I've kind of gotten all my wedding ideas grouped together inside my head, but we've not made any plans. I'm really worried that our venue is going to fill up before we have made the decision to use it.  Well, we've made the decision to use it, but we haven't spoken to all the important decision making people yet, and we haven't come up with a budget yet. This is why we haven't booked it. I am freaking out here.

I have also been worried about this money/house/job situation. I want to buy a house. I want to have enough money for our wedding. I want to know that we will both have decent jobs by the time our wedding gets here. (We are both managers at the same business, one of us will most likely have to leave by our wedding date.) That is scary. And I can not decide how I want to cut my hair.  I know what I want my hair to look like, but my hair is completely straight and boring. Try as I might, I cannot get it to hold any sort of style or curl.  I want bangs; but I don't. I CAN'T EVEN DECIDE HOW I LIKE MY HAIR ANYMORE! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE DECISIONS ABOUT A WEDDING!?!?!?!

i am even considering changing our wedding colors. Originally I wanted blue. Now I am considering purple.

Josh told me to do whatever I want about the wedding colors. What am I supposed to do? There are too many decisions in my life right now. I cannot cope with this.

I need to go play video games.

things to make for my wedding.

1. Paper flowers
2. Wooden vases to hold the flowers. I want each vase to hold 3 bunches of paper flowers for the table centers.
3. A basket of fun easy to make favors to keep guests busy before we get there.
     a. personalized mad libs
     b. cootie catchers
     c. personalized cross word puzzles.
     d. crayons and coloring book pages. I am going to make these from pictures of us.
     e. an I spy page.
4. a box to drop coloring book pages and mad libs in so that I can make a scrap book from them
5. hearts made from book pages or music sheet streamers
6. bags for my bridesmaids
7. a guest book (I think i will bind it myself)
8. I want sparkly blue shoes. I think i will find some cheap heels that I like and try to decoupage them blue and sparkly. We will have to see how this one goes.

getting layers in tulle and chiffon flowers

It is raining pretty hard here, although my mom just texted me pictures of the snow up north (only an hour north of here; they have lots of snow on the ground and its still coming down like crazy...)

So, anyway, puppy and I are just chillin' inside cleaning  and sewing today. I might get on WoW in a bit, but first, I have to post my 1st successful  tulle and chiffon flower.

Okay, so here is how to make it:

1. Start with 3 colors of fabric. I used light blue tulle, neon blue tulle, and sky blue chiffon.  I cut out about 15 flower shapes from the light tulle, 12 from the darker tulle and 8 from the chiffon.

2. For the bottom layer, I paired 2 light tulle with one dark tulle and turned them a bit so the petals didn't line up, then sewed them together.

3. After that, I kept pairing up groups of 2 cutouts in random colors. I stacked them, then twisted every opposite petal so the bottom cutout interwove with the top cutout. This makes your flower look more 3-d.

4. Keep layering, keep twisting. Occasionally, I ran the needle and thread through from the side of the flower to pull more petals upward.

5. The top layer is 2 dark tulle cutouts, which I twisted all the petals on the bottom so they stuck up between the petals on the top layer and sewed some beads into place under them. I then sewed 10 beads into a sphere in the middle of the flower.

6. I realize it is kind of hard to understand these instructions, basically you want to keep twisting and sewing in random places to ensure your petals don't just sit on top of each other.

coffee filter flowers.

I got the idea for these from aunt peaches. I didn't like her method of dyeing, so I painted them instead.  This allowed me to get flecks of different colors of blue throughout the flower, and also allowed a quick drying time.  The basic idea is the same, however.

Step 1. Color some coffee filters in various shades of the same color.

Step 2. Fringe the coffee filters

Step 3. Gather them together 2-3 at a time, fold them into fourths and twist the bottom.

Step 4.  Insert the first bunch into a second bunch and twist.

Step 5. Insert all into a third bunch, twist, you are done.

Step 6. If you want them to go in a vase attach wire or pipe cleaner to the base of the flower.
